Committees Work
This committee supports the governor-elect by training incoming club and district leaders and supports the governor by providing continuing education for Rotarians. Specific tasks of this committee include:
- Working with the DGE and other members of district staff to plan, organize, and deliver club leadership training, normally scheduled for April.
- Working with the DGE and other members of the district staff to plan, organize, and deliver Assistant Governor Training, normally scheduled for April.
- Working with the DG and District Membership Chair, and other members of the district staff to plan, organize, and deliver Club Membership Training, normally scheduled for September
- Working with the DGE and other members of the district staff to plan, organize, and deliver Pre-PETS training
- Working with the DGE and other members of the district and multi-district staff to support any multi-district president elect training (C-PETS)
- Working with the DGE and other members of the district staff to plan, organize and deliver the district-specific events or breakouts held in conjunction with multi-district president elect training (C-PETS).
- Working with DG to deliver other training events as needed throughout the Rotary Year to help build understanding of topics to include membership, grants, foundation, or any topic that helps develop knowledge of Rotary.
